this stud will "get r done".I have read so many posts disrespecting R.W. ,and by the end of the year anyone who has been negative on him should be hanging there heads in shame, and should post there apologies.the entire DOLPHIN NATION will be in hysteria over his performance this year.Just a little bit of insight into this- Ricky with a chip on his shoulder, running behind THIS offensive line!!! WOW AND WOW AND MORE WOW

I like your enthusiasm but he won't win the rushing title IMO. He will be a good runner for us along with Ronnie and together they should give us a real nice attack

The only way he will win the rushing title is if you add his yards with ronnie browns yards. and even if you do that, he still might not win the rushing title. I think the rushing title will go to adrian peterson.

Nice avatar to look at on an early Monday morning...!

BTW, I agree with your comment. He will split carries with Ronnie. I think a more realistic prediction (maybe overhyped) is that both could possibly get a 1000 yds rushing.

Have you ever tried bourbon in your bong instead of just water?

Peterson wont win it for the same reasons ricky or ronnie wont, split carries. I think i like Steven Jackson to win it this year. With Bruce gone and Holt another year older, Linehan will lean on his stud rb

Regardless of Ricky winning the rushing title I think one thing needs to be made clearly evident:

Ricky Williams is, and should be, our #1 running back!!!

Every time the guy has stepped on the field since his whole retirement debacle started, he has still shown to be the same capable runner he has always been. And that my friends, is one better than Ronnie. People need to STOP handing Ronnie the default starting/best RB role on our roster. It's time to stop being blind to the fact that when Ricky is ON THE FIELD, he adds a sense of excitement and curiosity to the viewer, and defense, moreso than Ronnie does. Its as if people are just afraid to give Ricky that respect, or feel like they are obligated to say Ronnie is the better back, when performance clearly shows he isn't. The only area Ronnie is better is in pass catching, and even there Ricky has never been any slouch.

Now, this is not a slap against Ronnie, he's very capable to handle the load, but when you have to decide like we do, the answer should clearly be that Ricky is the #1 back, and should get the load accordingly until he proves otherwise.

I think our rushing attack will be a lot like Dallas' last year. Ronnie Brown is like Julius Jones. he is good and will start and could be the every down back but we have Ricky Williams (who is like Marion Barber) who just needs the ball in his hands. Ricky will probably be getting the meaningful carries at the end of the game. I'm as big of Ronnie Brown fan as you can find, but no matter what he's still coming off an ACL injury and you usually aren't 100% until the second season you are back. he should be good but not super human like last year. Ricky will get great stats but rushing title is a gross exagguration.

I wrote this a month ago in a thread called Ricky's gonna tear it up or something like that. I got ripped from cynical fans for even entertaining the thought.

Its obvious, if Ricky stays healthy - LOOK OUT!

Theres a better chance of us winning the division than that happening

As much as I love Ricky Williams and wish this would happen for him...I don't think he will..

I think he'd have a chance if he was the Ricky of 2002/2003...and also we have Ronnie, and Parmele now so that just decreases the chances..

But still it sure would be awesome if he did...

How is it obvious? A week ago people on here were fitting Devone Bess for his HOF jacket. How did that go the other night? Look, I like Ricky, and I hope he does well, but if he can avg over 4 yards a carry this year, Ill take that.
