Our Ricky Williams won the FedEx ground player of the week :woot: with his 119 yards and 3 total TD's on a Thursday night against a game Panthers team.

I would like to thank Fins nation for showing up and supporting our ODD but very talented Ricky Williams. Lets hope Henne and Ricky are atleast nominees for this weekly award throughout the rest of the season.

Thanks again Fins nation for showing the love :thanks:

yeah i voted like 40 times

I just really hate ballot stuffing in general. What did it prove? It didn't prove that Ricky was the most deserving, it just meant that he had more people more profiicent at stuffing the ballot box. I know eeveryone does it, but It's not that muh an aomplishment for that particular player

Alright Rick! Way to represent! I want to see those same numbers against the Patriots maybe a couple more TDs would be nice!! :D

For every 70 a dolphins fan puts in, there is 70 for a diffrent team. Its the people who just appreciate football in general that go on those polls week in and week out and vote for the most deserving that week.

So, the majority agrees, Ricky was the most deserving this week.

I already stated I was aware of that.

I just also say that it irritates me to hit a poll so someone gets something. One vote? Fine. 70? there are issues there.

I know that the OP didn't mean anything by it, but Ricky is not 'odd' at all.

IMO, he's more like the rest of us than any other professional athlete in any of the leagues. It's so hard to believe because we put our professional sports athletes on such a high pedestal that we truly elevate them to 'inhuman' status.

Ricky is a total anomaly...a soft-spoken, introspective human being with a somewhat fragile psyche (as evidenced by his social anxiety disorder) yet a total beast with a football tucked under his arm.
