does anybody have any idea if ricky will be back with us next year or will he stay in canada? i heard a rumor that the NFL might not reinstate him. i would just like to no.

Hey, honestly . . . if I am head of the NFL . . . why on earth would I reinstate a guy who has violated the substance abuse police . . . 4 TIMES . . . I want Ricky back as much as the next person . . . but I'm not counting on it.

He is coming back were else is he going to make money and we all know we need him badly until we find his replacement.

Yeah, the league makes money off him, duh. We're talking primetime game ratings, jersey sales, other memorabillia. Come on, why do you think everyone hates T.O., yet the Cowboys suspeciously got like 6 (YES 6!) primetime games this year?

Money is money. Ratings are ratings. The nfl loves guys like ricky.

BINGO!

hey we need ricky, use to he pays back the money he owes and then get someone else, when brown went down last year ricky saved us in those last 7 games or so, morris is good but not a regular, plus ricky brought a work ethic to the team as well

T.O. doesn't have any substance abuse violations and is just in a league of his own. Ricky is doing things to tarnish the rep of the league . . .how would it look that all these sports are handing down these severe suspension . . and football just gives the guy chance after chance . . . the league is looking to make a statement and what other way would they make that statement but deciding to shut Ricky out of the NFL for good . . . I don't hope for that but don't be suprised if he is not reinstated next year.

Tarnish the league????? WTF??? He smokes Marijuana...he doesn't abuse Steroids...Why didn't the league make a statement with players like Bill Romanowski with his OBVIOUS steroid abuse??? All I have to say to you sir is WHATEVER!

Nobody is trying to compare steriod abuse with substance abuse . . . but the NFL has long been known to be "soft" when it comes to these rules . . . and reinstating Ricky doesn't seem automatic to me . . . trust me I want him back . . . I'm not knocking his character . . but the league may have other ideas.

He'll be back - unless of course he fails another test...

The guy drives me nuts - but he is a special talent and he does change the dynamic of our offense when he is in there...

Yes he does . . . who doesn't want a guy like Ricky back on this offense . . .he isn't just a Running back . . he is an ELITE playmaker, something this offense could definitley use more of.

But he isn't realiable, and this is the same cat who quit on this team before the 04 season . . .was suspended the first 4 games of the 05 season and suspended the whole 2006 season . . . I heard good things about his presence last year . . . but if we are hoping he can come back and provide help to this offense then we got problems . . . he is the last person I want to put faith in to help this team . . . would really be an unexpected bonus for next season IMO.
