Ricky came off the field limping on one play. Then later on he was back in and on the last winning TD run by Ronnie it looked to me like Ricky's left knee gave out and it caused him to trip over his feet.

Hope I'm wrong about it. Hope it's nothing serious.

Anyone know if he's ok?

The limp looked bad, but then he was fine on the winning run. His knee didn't give out did it - I thought it was more like his feet caught each other.

I thought to that it was just that he tripped over his feet till I looked at the replay and it really looked like it gave out and in made his feet get caught.

Hes ok, and HE IS ALSO A BEAST!

He is playing with Heart and Fire!!!

Ricky N Ronnie are amazing together and run the WC like nobody can!!!

Well I just looked at the recording and it's hard to tell if it was his knee that buckled that caused his feet to get caught with each other. Or if it was his feet getting caught together that made his knee look like it gave out...lol.

I guess we'll find out tomorrow if he's ok.

oh wow, thats a terrible blow if cobbs is gone for season... he is crucial in our wildcat formation along with being a major contributor on special teams :( looks like ginn will be returning kicks full time now

Ricky hasn't lost a step like they all wanted to say before the season, but he does seem a little slower to get up and get going now and I did notice a couple times where he got up with a limp. His running style these days seems to leave him open to a lot of strain and some tweaking- he isn't as fluid as Ronnie is and his legs could really take a pounding.

The reality is that we are probably going to without Cobbs for the rest of the season (carted off the sideline with a knee injury) and I'm already wondering if Polite or Hilliard are going to fit in on the wildcat. Either way, Cobbs was an important contributor and his presence will be missed in certain situations. We need Ricky to stay healthy.

We've got a bye though, so he'll have time.

Polite is already part of the wildcat formation.

Hilliard will likely take Cobbs' spot in the wildcat, unless we pick up another RB/FB in free agency.

I think anybody can do what Cobbs did tonight if we keep allowing the whole defense to swarm our return guy at the 15!! I like Cobbs, I hope its not true, just saying that it doesn't matter who is returning if we block like we did tonight. Terrible.
