Ricky's burst is back!!!!

Like he said in his article, he's always had that speed.. just not too many chances to show it lately.
 
Ricky Williams is probably better than half the starting back in this league right now. Bottom line when Ricky has his mind right, he is one of the top back in the game hands down.
 
I really like Ricky and I'm glad to see him get more carries.

However, just about any running back in the league would've scored a TD on that play that Ricky scored the long TD. Did you see the hole he had to run through? Nobody touched him.
 
Ricky really hit the holes fast and strong against Seattle. It was far and away his best performance I've seen since he retired. Not even considering his stats, he just didn't hesitate at all and used some great speed and field vision. I love Ronnie Brown but he needs to pay attention to Ricky and quit being so indecisive when he's in the backfield.
 
Almost got into a fight after that run. I was screaming run ricky run, then some smartass wanted to get all original with the ricky comment. Bitter Browns fan........hmmm kinda sounds like bitter beer face.:)
 
Browns fans have a right to be miserable and bitter though. What happened to their SB year this year?

Good read...I was almost going to drop him from my fantasy squad, but that's not happening now
 
here's the thing. Ricky and Ronnie are the same rb. They both need lots of touches, and get stronger and run harder as the game goes on. This is a conundrum for the trifecta, albeit a nice one to have ;)

That's a good point. Ricky didn't get that overnight and neither will Brown. RB did show that ability last year and it may just be his knee hindering him a bit right now. It seems as if he's slowed a step since the beginning of the season and he doesn't look as if he's willing to make many cuts. I think it's slowing him down and that's why Ricky is suddenly the go to guy with the "burst".

I was going to do the same but now I wont even trade for him which someone in my league tried to ask.

He's giving me more points then my other two backs

Frank Gore and Matt Forte
