Williams' mother, Sandy, said her son is currently in India, and she has not spoken to him. She said she feels like she has spent enough time with her son to believe he no longer smokes.

"I'll bet my life he's not smoking marijuana," Sandy Williams said Sunday night. "He's so particular about what he puts in his body now. I would just be shocked. I just don't believe he's smoking weed.

"I'm thinking maybe it was one of his (legal) supplements for his yoga school. I really just don't believe he's smoking weed."

I really hope she is right. The media may have jumped the gun on this one. There may be more to the story such as him testing positive for a different substance or just missing a drug test.

If the suppliment is legal but somehow makes it look like you used a drug on the test it helps a lot

In the eyes of the public it does. This stigma on marijuana is crazy, and he'll be deemed a hopeless drug-addict.

If it's a yoga supplement, then people will sympathize.

But just because it's a legal "Yoga" supplement, doesn't mean it might not be on the list of banned substances the NFL has. Again, we'll just have to find out exactly what's what. But good to hear the mom chime in!

Certain things you put in your body can make it look like you put something else in, maybe the suppliment can be confused with a drug and needs to be tested more carefully

This is the NFL, I'm sure their drug tests are thorough and wouldn't have a mistake like that. Everything at this point is speculation.

Im sure they are thorough but maybe they havnt come across this suppliment before and arent familiar with testing it

it is all specualation but thats what im hopeing, it may not be likely but there is a chance
