...Think about it! In '04 w/o RW we were exposed and anemic. OK, OK this team has many 'position areas' of concern, and yet, I believe when you have the caliber talent of RW on the field pounding the rock for your team - it's going to create match-up issues other teams find too :boohoo: challenging to overcome. It was no coincidence last year that we went on a 6 game streak at the end because RW was pounding that R-O-C-K... And this season - no rock pounder, no W's! :boohoo:

Maybe, but he actually got carries too. Ever since last year (yes even with Linehan) we've been giving up on the run way too easily. All good teams continue to pound the ball even if it's not working.

Our problem is not the fact that Ricky isnt here. He wouldnt hurt to be here, but we have HUGE other problems

Of course we need to drastically shore up the o-line. We also need some heart running behind that line, and I'm sorry to say, Ronnie just doesn't seem to have 'it' in him! Only twice last year (runs against Carolina and KC) did he show some heart... But, that was all. RW runs with passion, maybe like someone's running off with his medication or something to that effect! Nonetheless, the man shows his talent and passion. I want RB to work - God I do, but I believe he's what he is - Ricky's 'breather' for a series or two.

Ricky has NOTHING to do with it. We're not running the ball, and that has almost everything to do with it.

Ronnie Brown will never be Ricky Williams. Not many running backs get 1800 yards in a year. Comparing the two is unfair to Ronnie.

It has absolutely nothing to do with Ricky Williams. Something is fishy and I think it might be your sense of reality on the entire situation. Because even with the godsent child (aka Ricky to some morons) if we don't run the football then tell me something how is Ronnie suppose to do something about this. Is he suppose to take it out of the QBs hands. I am sick of hearing about this. This guy had over 120 yards of total offense on limited carries. I mean we are in shotgun formation on 1st down over half the time and throw the ball about 70% of the time. There is nothing Ronnie or EVEN RICKY could about it. The problem is that idiot Mularkey. Period!

Sorry, common sense is not allowed on this board.

Ricky is a special talent. Sure he is a head case, but he has that ability to take over a game. In fact that is one of our biggest problems is that we don't have that special talent on this team. Look at Urlacher on the Monday Night game.

Ricky would have made us more competitive, and probably win a few more. But make no mistake about it this team has a servious void of talent that they have to solve. OLine, DBacks, LBs, everywhere.

You can't take over a game if you don't get the ball........

last year with ricky and ronnie we would run the ball 25-30 times a game this year we run 13, 15 , 19 times and we expect to win when we have a backup qb throwing 60+ times? compared to running 19, or whatever number we ran

ricky is a playmaker for us, but him being here would not make a shred of difference when we dont run the football

I apologize. I forgot that fantasy land is were we should be and making up things that don't exist is what this place is all about. LOL!

Well duh.....

Harrington plays with so much heart he's thrown 7 Interceptions in 3 games. We just need a little more heart and we will be champions!!!!!!!!!
