ricky's suspension a good thing?

I was thinking about ricky's suspension and about how i wish he could play week1 but then i started thinking ricky being out could really help us in the future. imo we have 4 very good running backs brown/williams/gordon/kay-jay,now if ricky is there week one there is no way gordon or kay jay will get any carries. so ricky being out for 4 games gives other teams a chance to see what gordon and kay jay can do. then at the end of the year we keep the 2 best and then trade the other 2 for picks?

Gordon's contract expires after this year, so he would have to be traded before the trading deadline this season. And there is virtually no way that Brown would be traded. But besides that I do agree it will give the team a chance to both discover and showcase the talents of the many rb's we have on the roster.
