Yes. Midnight means the midnight after the game. It was already 1:00am when this story came up.

Wasn't midnight here in the central time zone. It was 11:49 pm 31 Aug. That's why i asked for clarification.

actually he is getting off light. According to the CBA, a player on suspension isn't supposed to even be allowed at team facilities exept to receive medical treatment and then he is supposed to leave immediately after the treatment is over.

Completely alienate him from the sport for 5 weeks leaving him with nothing to do.

Yeah, after a player comes back to the sport that's a great way to keep a player into the sport and off of the drugs.

Yes, suspend him from the games and practice but he should be allowed to be a part of the team meetings and workouts. That way a player stays immersed in the game and not free to find ways to get into trouble.

Personally I haven't inhaled since High School, but I would agree, the NFL needs to adjust their perspective to meet the Times. I mean here in Cali, even the Highway Patrol are adapting.
Just this Monday, the LA Times reported, the California Highway Patrol revised its policies regarding the limits to how much Medical Marijuana, patients can now drive around with.

Actually, eight ounces is a pretty hefty personal stash.

I'd say the Highway Patrol is "readily" adapting.

ricky's violations were not medical, they were purely recreational. As for the NFL "adjusting" their policies....marijuana is still an illegal drug. Until its not, the league is 100% correct in it policy on pot.

I like how alot of people were positive about him allowing to attend practice, but apparently that's not true.

I don't think he is even allowed in the practice facility or even the stadium for games. Couple years ago or was it last year Byron Chamberlain for the Vikes was in the same position and he couldn't do anything Viking related, then came back fat and overweight as he couldn't practice or workout at the facility.so they cut him.

It is a suspension from the team that lasts 4 games mandated by the NFL, people confuse that and think it is just a 4 game suspension and that all he misses are games.
