i have to wonder... if the league won't let him anywhere near the team, not even to attend meetings or watch practice... can they still test him regularly during the suspension?.... if so, that seems odd...

I don't think he is even allowed in the practice facility or even the stadium for games. Couple years ago or was it last year Byron Chamberlain for the Vikes was in the same position and he couldn't do anything Viking related, then came back fat and overweight as he couldn't practice or workout at the facility.so they cut him.

It is a suspension from the team that lasts 4 games mandated by the NFL, people confuse that and think it is just a 4 game suspension and that all he misses are games.

thats supposed to be the way it works according to the CBA, but apparently the league is again bending over backwards to accomodate Ricky.

NFL spokesman Steve Alic said Williams' contact with the Dolphins would be limited. He can still attend meetings, receive treatment in the team's training room and work out at the club's facilities.
