Anybody suppose Wade Smith might be a better guard than Whitley? Many average tackles make solid guards. Jermaine Mayberry springs to mind.

What makes you think that Smith is an average tackle?

So far, I would think that a large rock or maybe even a blocking dummy would be better than Smith. At least someone might trip over them.

Possibly. Hadnot has a reputation for being a road grader -- both for his crushing blocks :) and his relative speed .
