Right Tackle Solution.................

Starks is terrible. They need to man up and admit their mistake with Carey. Columbo is worthless.

At this point I would be onboard with putting a cheerleader out there and having her take her bloomers off hoping the distraction slows someone down! Because Carey and Columbo sure ****ing don't! Jesus Henne, Bush, Thomas, and LJ won't make the bye week if we don't fix that mess!

Agreed, read it too, and mentioned it in my posts as well.

Could be, but its not so unusual for O-lineman to show up overweight to camp. I 'm not saying he shouldn't be checked out now, but he could have shaved it off by now.

Look, were not likely to find an all-pro Right tackle waiting to be signed....At this point I'd settle for somebody solid.

Youre sayinf you would rather stick with Columbo now, but wait until the season starts and Henne and the RB's suffer. Starks may not be the best option, but he is a HUGE upgrade over Columbo.

Its a valid excuse. I was thinking the same thing. I mean look at what John Abraham did to Jake Long two years ago. Do we now consider Long a POS because of it?
First bold, said nothing of the sort....I said we could go with Columbo/Murtha,or as someone pointed out and move Carey back to RT where he wasn't horrible. But cmon, this whole,"Oh,its Cam Wake, what did you expect?"

Second bold, you're a professional, you do your job to the best of your abilities, no excuses. Max Starks gets worked by defenders just as much as Cam did towards him, and by players not even on the same platue as Wake. I've seen a fair share of Steelers games, so Im not just talking out of nowhere. If we're going to have a RT get worked either way, whats the point in bringing in a new guy with a new contract, than just stick with the ones that already implemented to some kind of playbook acknoledgement. If there is an upgrade, its minimal at best, and tbh your just moving laterally. I mean if anything continuity should overcome minor mishaps that just constant churning for inevitable....nothing

Oh, and in case you didn't know it...Starks played some left tackle for Pittsburgh as well.
oh my lord, the only reason he played LT is because Column was hurt....believe me it wasnt be choice....He can barely play RT

Thats interesting...because he started at left tackle for a Super Bowl champion, and at right tackle for a superbowl champion...I guess he was at least decent...the Steelers must have thought so when they signed him to a 26 million dollar deal, with 10 million guaranteed in 2009.

yeah, you know what else the Steelers thought in 2011?

Marcus Gilbert....smh, please stop digging yourself into a hole with a plastic spoon, my friend, its not appealing....

At this point im willing to bring in anyone for a look. If we go into the season with Columbo starting ill be worried for hennes health.
