I heard on ESPN radio that no team has contacted SD about Rivers and that this is unusual because by December teams are usually putting out feelers about players they are interested in. Maybe Rivers isn't a hot comodity as thought.

I think it's because teams realize that the asking price will be too high for and unproven player. Especially considering the salary the team will be taking on.

He was never a "hot" comodity... SD will not sign Brees, and he will start. It's the only way to save face. They should have not bowed down to Eli Manning.

With Brees hurt and not knowing what his future is, the Chargers will not be letting Rivers go anytime soon.

Drew Brees injured his shoulder on his throwing arm and his status for next year is uncertian...maybe the Chargers have taken Rivers off the trade block. :dolphins:
