Remember that Chargers paid out 14.5 million dollars in signing bonus, plus they will take a 9 million dollar cap hit. They will want another pick or a player to compensate for that... they are not just going to throw that away.... especially if by keeping him on the roster his salary is only in the 300k.

what an idiot......I don't even think the Jets are THAT stupid to trade their best player for Rivers. They are set for years with Vilma in the middle and you don't ruin that for an unproven QB.

Personally i wouldnt go after Rivers....but theres going be someone who will pay a crazy price for him......
