Rizzi name mentioned for the Rutgers HC job

Rutgers is in severe financial problems. I think he will stay put if Philbin likes him. That Rutgers job is not very attractive.
 
no one is in severe financial problems, and no one sucks. i figured there would be some west coast hippie or some other type of ***** on this thread, which is why i clicked it.

rizzi is a long shot b/c as for head coaches, there are a few more attractive options for RU. but he is certainly on the radar.

i would say a school that has several solid NFL players currently in the league and whose head coach just got an NFL HC job "sucks"

complain about ESPN but its ok when its SEC bias and not "north eastern bias" check the Bowl records by conference.
 
If Rizzi stays with the Dolphins, they will have three solid coordinators with him, Sherman and Coyle. Hopefully the rest of the staff Philbin puts together can be as impressive. I would have to think the full coaching staff will be in place very soon, especially after finalizing the coordinator positions
 
the fact that Philbin kept Rizzi on shows me that Philbin even knows what was great last year. Of course, the kicking off from 35 helped alot but you can chalk up that WR who's name starts with a P i think as an absolute roster spot taken. Maybe Philbin gets him involved in the Offense and teaches him to run the right route.

It all depends on Rizzi's ambitions, if he has thoughts of becoming a head coach then why not take the job but many coaches are quite happy being what their specialty is
