Robbie Chosen signs back with Dolphins

He doesn’t block.
Chosen was blocking last season in his limited reps. Somehow he became convinced that to stay around Miami, if your name isn't Waddle or Tyreek, and you play WR, you better make an effort as a blocker.

Dubose still learning the play book but I believe he is a good blocker. I think it was him I saw on a video where he blocks the defender about 8 yards away from the play.
Don’t understand the love for Berrios, maybe its a U thing

He won’t block and his hands are suspect.
He was a whiny pain in the ass with 2 previous teams so he had character issues.
Maybe he has cleaned up that up but he really isn’t any good.
I would have tried to get Patrick or Noah Brown. Guys that block since Hill Waddle Washington Berrios are all little dudes.
Washington and Berrios will both block.

Chosen had a bad reputation before he came to Miami last year... was promised nothing by the coaches... then worked hard and managed to stick around.

So... the coaches were not turned off by his attitude or deportment. That shows a certain amount of trust, even if they wanted to improve the WR room.

I don't hate this signing. Heck, he may never suit up for a game. He's a more talented Braylon Sanders.

I would whine too if I had to play for the Jets and Cardinals. The whining is people complaining over a fourth, fifth maybe the six receiver.

I think Berrios gets the nod for now because he knows the offense and Tua and McDaniel trust him. I think, before midseason, Washington and maybe even Eskridge will make Berrios obsolete in the offense and as apunt return option.

Maybe he's considered more "reliable" by the coaches than you give him credit for.

Let me see, whose player knowledge base do I feel is better, yours or the coaches?
This was a trick question, and the answer is - mine. - LOL

Wow, we just signed a guy with a wealth of experience in the league, actually has had a 1000 yard receiving season, something that only 2 players on this roster have achieved and is well liked in the clubhouse, oh and it is for the practice squad. Meanwhile you fawn all over unproven rookies (Washington), a 7th rounder that had limited time in Green Bay and was released (DuBose), a walking vagina and injury prone diva (OBJ), another JAG who has been a major disappointment (Berrios) and last but not least a player who has had 3 damn years here, can't get a playbook down and is CONSTANTLY injured (EE).

This guy is at least available every Sunday, around here that is a valuable commodity.
When you never see the field I would not call it a coincidence.
