Love the physical attributes if can convert to SOLB.

Does anyone know if he's capable of converting. He's projected timed speed isn't that good. Hopefully he will prove to be much faster at the combine.

thats the million dollar question.... this guy is going to be a beast... no doubt about it.

the thing is, he's your "perfect" 4-3 DE, so he'll be a lot higher on 4-3 teams' boards looking for a DE than 3-4 teams looking for an OLB ... those 3-4 teams have a lot of other options out there

so the bottom line is, i think he'll be drafted by a 4-3 team early in the 2nd round

Ayers has played some linebacker at Tennessee in order to get him on the field when Xavier Mitchell and Antonio Reynolds were ahead of him on the depth chart at defensive end...

Ayers is the sleeper that could end up being a starter at the next level after making the conversion behind the more hyped up prospects that could project to making the same conversion from DE to OLB...

Ayers led the Vols in "big plays" along with Eric Berry....despite not even starting his junior year...

where is he being picked IYO ?

he's made to be a 4-3 end. I don't like it when you get 270+ guys trying to stand up, it's unatural. We tried to do it with Roth and while it was fun to watch you can tell that he isn't right for the position.
