Robert Edwards former Fin RB, also in CFL

of course ricky is gonna make money, him and that other bac, dont remember the name need to just stop runnin there mouths and play football. ricky is a top bac in the nfl, roberts would have been if not for the injury and ive never even heard of the other guy.
 
"Edwards, who rushed for almost 1,200 yards in 2005" !! Damn and I thought this guy was done! Maybe we should re-sign him to back up Ronnie Brown with numbers like that.
 
If this is the guy who blew his knee out playing football at the beach in Hawaii, he is an awesome back. His short stint with Miami showed great bursts. I thought he was solid. I didn't understand why we got rid of him. He was cheap and really good.
 
I guess I'm not quite sure where you're getting the part about Edwards being upset? Here is his only quote regarding Ricky:

"I won't say I'm upset over his salary. Besides, what can I do?" Edwards said yesterday. "He's coming in and making CFL quarterback money in one year. But he's high-profile. Look at his track record."

Honestly, I don't think players should gripe about the amount of money that players on other teams make. Now, if Montreal had signed Ricky, and given him that much more money than Edwards, he would have a reason to feel slighted. As it stands, it doesn't look like he feels slighted now anyway.
