Roberto Wallace and Marlon Moore......

Whats his average field position on returns? Anybody care to answer? the guy has 6 good returns in what 6 or 7 years and hes one of the best?! I dont buy it

yes, you really must have.... because when we had Ginn he was OUR ONLY THREAT at receiver.. we had freaking camarillo behind him. teams were FOCUSING to stop ginn.

and yet he still put up a 55+ catch 700 yard season??

yah ur right no potential there...??????????????????????????????

He had 112 yards receiving last year.

Gates = Ginn light

What was he 3rd round ? (Gates)

He runs one back and Ted's a distant memory.

Ginns average kickoff return is 21.1 which is below average compare it to hester at 25 or logan from detriot at 27 or the returner in tennessee at 27, consistentcy is what you look for in a returner your not gonna break a return every game

This isnt true. Teams wouldnt focus on Ginn because they KNEW he couldnt catch.

Ginn dropped more touchdowns than he caught and on top of that, if a defender got within 5 yards of him, he'd fall on the ground and piss himself like an abused schoolgirl. Is he a good returner? Yes, awesome, but we needed a number one wide receiver. Not a returner with super speed and no balls.

i would address this but i'd just come off as redundant because 3 other posters have proven my point.

the odds are Wallace and Moore will never be starters in the NFL and neither has shown the ability to return so yea Ginn is better

i don't think it was a huge mistake to let Ginn go, but he was a threat. I would love to have him as a 4 or 5 receiver and a kick returner.

Dont let one good game fool you hes not that good of a returner

you honestly think moore or wallace will have more of an impact than ginn, hell ginn has probably touched the ball more today than both those guys will all season

i have supported ginn as a returner since we drafted him and still say he is one of the better ones because of his big play ability, and to get nolan carroll (who most people thought wouldnt make the team) for ginn is not even close to a comparison.

Not that I feel one game out of Ginn makes him a success, but if anything you could say this proves you should'nt be so quick to give up on a player. Henne comes to mind.

What's his average this year?

Ok, can anyone on this board honestly tell me you would rather have these 2 guys rather than 1 of these guys and TED GINN JR?

We draft him top 15, then trade him for a late round pick?? what the hell??

He could play backup receiver and return kicks for us, I honestly think trading him away was one of the stupidest moves we've made in a long, long time.

He showed potential at receiver and hes PROVEN to be one of the best if not the best returner in the league. and we trade him for a bag of peanuts. what a joke

Yeah, what a joke that we would trade away a reciever who couldn't catch s*** and OCCASIONALLY ran a kick back for a 5th rounder.

Get real dude, ginn sucked, and his two or maybe three returns a year isnt worth the roster space, money, or the drops.

The way i look at it: We got a 5th rounder for a BUST. F*** Ginn . . . . . . and his family

Basically we traded Ginn for either Carroll or Jones I'm not sure which pick it was. Him and Carroll are pretty even imo except Carroll has a chance to get better. I would rather have Jones than Ginn.
