Roberto Wallace/Marlon Moore Expectations

These two have been way over-hyped on this site. I expect them to finally be cut...that's what I expect from them!

MOORE, WALLACE and PRUITT all have more talent than ANY of the new WRs i/m/o. They all have good size, and all are fast. MOORE has run 4'46-4.47 "forty" times, and has quickness as well. WALLACE has run 4.43-4.44, and PRUITT has consistently ran in the 4.41 range. IF, as I suspect, they were handicapped by B MARSHALL's being here, that's over now. We'll have to wait and see, but I can see any two of them making the team, barring injuries. I don't really care for CUNNINGHAM at all. I don't think that he'll make it in the NFL: he had better be a better version of O GADSEN, because he's just too slow. And at this level, everybody was solid-or-better in college. As to FULLER, i/m/o, he's living on borrowed time. If he can't catch/hold onto the football, he's useless.

I could care less about their times. They have shown little as far as route running and getting separation and Moore has shown me a couple of times that he has no hands whatsoever. (He doesn't get his hand turned right when the ball is above his head...kind of like Ginn...where he would sometime look completely uncoordinated.)

Moore is likely cut. Rishard Matthews will take his spot. Matthews is almost as fast with far more skill and polish.

I don't think Wallace will make it either, but he has more of a chance because a guy like him (great size + speed) is harder to replace, and IIRC, he has done more on special teams than Moore.

I think they are both gone. I think we will keep Hartline, Bess, Gates then B.J. And Rishard then it will be Fuller or another undrafted free agent. With the nod probably going to Fuller since he knows the offense.

only time will tell i wish them the best but i like ROBERTO WALLACE:finnasty:

Wallace wasn't on the practice squad last year, he was on the roster until he went on IR. He was on the roster for 12 games in 2010 as well. He was active for almost all those games as well. In 2010 he was 2nd in ST's tackles behind Amaya. He was our #1 cover guy last year until injured. He was also the punter protector for most of the punt snaps in 2010.

Wallace also had a high catch ratio when targeted in 2010. Last year it was just appease the Diva(Marshall) so he didn't see the field.

Wallace has pretty much done everything asked of him so far. I'm sure they will be asking more of him this year.

You people who think Wallace is getting cut are nuts.

I can't believe the ignorance level on this site at times.

If you are going to post 50 times a day, the least you could do is know the players who are on the active roster.

if you're going to belittle the active membership, could you at least provide a retort that involves 2011 stats?

Nobody needs to know who Roberto Wallace is. He's a scrub.

What's the powerball Mr. Allknowitall?

You're welcome.

No but seriously, Roberto Wallace isn't any good. He's not some hidden talent. So hidden he didn't have a single catch last year. He's just a special teams player, and not good enough at that to warrant keeping on the roster.

They need to step up and be more productive on a consistent basis. You can only be patient for so long.

It's pretty hard to show much when you don't see the field. http://www.kffl.com/player.php/23329/nfl/utilization?uyear=2010

In 2010 when Wallace was used a little he did well catching 6 of 10 targets for a catch% of 60. Inadequate amount of stats, but a better % than Marshall non-the-less.

Of course in 2011 it was all Marshall with a 147 targets and a catch% of 57. Wallace was only used on 1 play early in 2011 and then went on IR for the duration.

I have all confidence that whoever ends up taking this year's snaps at WR, the Dolphins are going to be a better all around WR corps without Brandon Marshall.

I have confidence that Joe Philbin is going to build an offense that truly plays as a team and functions like a well oiled machine; however, it could take a couple years.

Are you seriously comparing Wallace to Marshall? And saying that we will be better with Wallace than Marshall? Excuse me while I laugh....
