Never really got to see him play much.

Anybody got any info of the dude?

really good talent level. Showed spurts 2 years ago in Utah, but was traded because he did not get a long with Sloan. Took all of JR Smith's minutes away last season in New Orleans. Have no idea why he was traded again, NO has no SG now.

I'd say J.R. Smith's arrogance took his own playing time away.

Snyder's a decent outside shooter, which is all you need to know, because that's probably all he's going to do. But I think the Rockets needed a true marksman from out there; someone who will constantly make the bad guys pay for doubling Yao and/or McGrady. I liked the Battier trade, but JJ Redick would have been a PERFECT fit for this team in the draft.

Oh what could have been. I've been wanting JJ in this team for a while now. :cries:

Thanks for the report on him.

Now thinking back to the draft, I wish that we did draft Redick. If his back wasn't an issue and if he was more athletic and longer wing span, then he would been a Rocket right now.

But back to Snyder. I forget that this was the dude 2 years ago that said some racist things to Bob Sura and Jon Barry when we was playing them. He also stuck his tounge out at Van Gundy because they were beating us. Sucks for him though because we ended up winning and he was suspended by the team the next game.

I hope Bob Sura is back this year, he is the most underrated player on the team.

Bobdroopy...I remember this screenname on FH back in the days. Then I didn't see it for a while and now I see it again. I don't know why, but the s/n stood out to me when I saw it when I was browsing the threads.

Yeah, me too.

We could see him again this season because he is back at practice and Van Gundy said that he looks rusty, but he's improving day by day.

I just hope that he can return back to form because his knee was a pretty big issue and I'm suprised that he hasn't retired.

Haha PT, I helped you register with some soccer message board back in the day. Other than that, I only really get active with finheaven in the summer. Just time issues I guess.

Yea, he always played through pain. Great heart and a good character. I remember during our last playoff series, when he tackled that punk on that mavs after he gave Yao a hard foul. That was awesome, but to bad that series sucked the big one. Went into game 7 and then lost by 40. Rocket basketball hasn't been the same since.

Its okay, we have Rudy Gay now, at least he has some kinda of poten...oh, Wait..... nevermind.

I liked the Battier pickup, actually. That was a hefty price to pay, but Battier is exactly the kind of guy Houston needed. He can shoot 3's, he rebounds, he passes, he works his *** off, he defends, and most importantly, doesn't need the ball to succeed.

If I was Carroll Dawson, or whoever's running the team now (didn't Dawson retire?), I'd have offered the Sonics Houston's 2007 #1 pick for the #10 overall pick in the draft. Seattle wasn't planning to pick anyone who would help this year anyway, so why not take a pick in a deeper draft when they were just going to grab another 3 year project at center anyway? I bet they'd have done it, Houston could have grabbed Redick at #10, and used him as a Dell Curry-type sixth man.
