Rodger Saffold Question?

Leave it to the Raiders to cause confusion, and I am confused. Saffold was a FA. So, how is he returned to the Rams for failing his physical, which they have nothing to do with?

I have seen nothing on a contract, and have no idea why he is not now a FA. Any help?

He failed a Raiders physical but the Rams said they are fine with him as he passed their physical at the end of the year.

I heard on Mike & Mike this morning, they suggested maybe the Raiders owner was embarrassed at the ridiculously high contract Oakland's GM offered him, changed his mind, and needed a way to void it. :confused:
