Has anyone heard anything on whether or not he has started practicing or not. I really think he could be one of the steals of this past draft and fill our DT needs.
 
I think that he was moved to DE and the team has to decide pretty soon to either activate him or shelve him for the remainder of the year on IR.
 
they have (roughly) another week to make a decision on him for the rest of this season (according to Nick during a PR). I think we're fine as we are with Jeff and BigDaddy along with Traylor.

Next year....I look forward to seeing him...
 
He could be a HUGE steal in my opinion he was orginially a projected as a first day pick until the news of his shoulder came out and the questionable work ethic, but when the shoulder heal and guys like saban, thomas, carter and taylor light a fire under him i think he could be a starter in the future
 
He has been moved to DE, the Kevin Carter spot in our defensive line scheme. (Jason Taylor is an OE -- "other end".)
 
If he can be a contributer with out disrupting how the defense plays now, activate him. But if that happens "Who does he replace?".

He's definately is in the cards for next year. Let Carter and Z go. See where Traylor is for next year as far as his health. Start Evans and Rodriguez as DTs, or at least have them in the rotation.
 
I thought he was out for the year. Hopefully we do not bring him back too soon. Remember Daunte.

I dont think we boot Carter next year. He is old, but he is still playing pretty well. This probably depends on how Matt Roth developes. He sure had a monster game last sunday. He been playing at a much higher level this season, but whether we can have the confidence in him to implement him as the starter next year, I dont know. I think Wright was probably moved to DE in atticipation that he could be pretty solid in a 3-4 package.
Lets remember some sources had this guy going in the first round before the shoulder injury and his complete lack of a work ethic. Lets see how he progresses, this guy could be a hell of a steal.
