Why hasnt he played this year? Is something wront with him? Injury?
He can be a perfect 3-4 DE, and i wanna see how he performs.

I expected him to excel as well, but I guess he's not showing much.

Maybe he's just better suited for a 4-3 system.

Wright isn't injured. We just happen to have good rotation at the DE position.

Holliday, Starks and the two kids are playing well.

Rod Wright is here for depth. If someone goes down he will fill in nicely.

But he's always inactive. I just wanna see him play a little to see what he's got. Last year he was playing good. and i really think he can excell in the 3-4.

When the coaches decide that he is playing at a level above the others in the rotation or someone gets hurt, he will play. Until then, you have to trust that he simply is not play at a level which warrents his playing right now...

He played good during the preseason. The problem is he is playing behind Kendal Langford, Philip Merling, Vonnie Holiday, and Robert Starks. These guys are playing lights out, so he can't seem to crack the rotation as long as they are playing the way they are...

i think wright is good i hope he does get to play soon to show what he can do

You are correct about why Wright is not in the line-up, but it's Randy (not Robert) Starks.

starks has been playing as well as anyone on defense.

Weren't they trying to convert him, ala Roth? Also if he's still on the 53 man squad, they must like something about him.

Have to agree with this.

He's not playing because guys like Kendall Langford, Vonnie Holliday, Randy Starks, Jason Ferguson and Phil Merling ARE playing...and are playing really well.

That's not a bad thing. We should be thankful we have that kind of depth at the position, especially after a year ago.

I see that no one mentionned Paul Solai..But he's been active for all 3 games.....Why is he invisible??

The answer is simple...If thet're not playing it's b/c they are not good enough to break into the line-up.:)
