Rodrique Wright is like the invisible man. I never hear Sparano talk about him, no interviews, no press coverage. Does he really exist? Is he an imaginary player? Does anyone know anything about his play right now?

He is probably going to be gone. He never lived up to his potential, unfortunately.

i had hoped being in the conditioning program for this long would get wright in a position to become part of the d line rotation. i thought he had good measurables to be a de in the 3/4. sometimes no news is good news but there is some good competition on the line and i don't feel he has been shining or we would have heard something. i'm still pulling for the kid

Wrong scheme and team for the guy it appears. Maybe his college rep of taking plays off caught with him!

Yep I'm a little puzzle by him too, in 2007 when he did get into a game, he flashed a number of times, and when they didn't cut him last year, I thought he had a chance, but he's still not talked about or catching the reporters eye, but I don't know what the coaches are thinking, and that's where the real answers lie...

I forgot the guy was here.

beginning to think your right,,,have you heard anything ck,, any news at all.???

Nothing. He's there. He looks athletic. That's all I know. My guess is the two-gap game just isn't coming to him. I would hate to trade him to the Panthers considering we play them later this year but after Maake Kemoeautu getting hurt, they could really use a good one-gap DT.

Vickerson was looking good from what I saw in the Titan's game a few nights ago..

Way to be on the potentials out there... I really believe Rod is an NFL quality DL, the question is scheme team etc. If we can get value for him then that would be great. But still...its weird IMO the way the guy is just ignored, even last year when he made the team. I get the feeling something is odd in the background. No idea what, but it just seems ???

i think he's more of a 4-3 DT. the emergence of dotson is not a good sign for wright.
