Funny thread.

My problem with Feeley, was he seems to have trouble with his attention span. During the banquet, he was looking over at me when Coach Saban was speaking. I thought it quite odd that he wasn't paying attention to his head coach. I glared back at him, then the podium, as if to say, umm bro, might want to listen to this one guy.

I understand why he was staring at me, but I couldn't help it. His girlfriend was pretty hot. He didn't have to get all pissy.

Nah dude, I thought the Feeley quote was hilarious!:) But I recognize when things are said in jest and when they're not and the poster I was trading words with is one of the pre-eminent Feeley-haters in this forum.

It just irks me that some posters like them jump on every opportunity there is to take take a cheap shot at Feeley. I'm not a Feeley-hugger by any means and some of his mistakes frustrated the hell out of m last season but.... I also know he didn't have a legit chance last season. I'll be in the pack to to show him the door should he completely tank this season (Assuming he starts and has been given all the tools to succeed!)

I know the feeleying. Everytime I start a thread with something good to say about Feeley I get the same old people and the same old routines trying to make sure that nothing good ever gets said about him without them tempering it with negativity. Whereas you and I can let hundreds of negative comments go by without batting an eyelash, they can't let anything positive get out without trying to squash it.

But, you know what, I really don't care...I'ma do my thing anyway. Piss on 'em. Do the same, it aint worth fighting with them about.

Without debate and disagreement, then these boards wouldn't even exist. If you don't want to start a debate or here people disagree or give there feedback, whether in agreement or not, then why start the thread to begin with??

When you say tools, I'm assuming you mean talent around him. Because if you're talking about physical tools, well, noone can give him that. He has to possess them. Saban can't give him ability.
You haven't been on this board long enough to see what i say about Feeley. Stating my opinion about Feeley is not taking cheap shots. It's just that: my opinion. If you disagree fine. Good for you. But my joke about adding something to a quote didn't offend anyone but YOU. Even some people who support AJ may have found that a little ammusing. On the other hand, you are going to make a mountain out of a mole hill. Get over it already.

I have already agreed to disagree with you. That's fine. I was never trying to convince you of anything. I AM willing to give AJ a shot. But I don't believe he has it. You might think he does and that is fine.
As for me posting negatively about Feeley....I have posted positively about R. Williams and taken flack about that constantly. I've been saying he would come back in shape and he would do well and he and Ronnie would make a good 1-2 punch. I got made fun of. NOW, he's back and half the people (or more) who were against me are suddenly warming up to his being back. So, we all get ribbed about things. No big deal. I may warm up to Feeley. Who knows. I could be wrong about him. Or I could be right. It all remains to be seen.

I laughed out loud at the quote but I may have taken it the wrong way. I didnt take it that Feeley kept looking back because he was so thrilled that Ricky was back that he couldnt believe it.......I thought he meant that he kept looking back to make sure Ricky hadnt bolted again.
