Roger Goodell discusses four-day draft, expanded playoffs

"Goodell told NFL Media's Jeff Darlington that the league is considering extending the draft to four days, although it would remain at seven rounds.... Goodell yesterday on the May draft date: "From our standpoint, it’s another two weeks that people are talking about the Draft."

"The NFL has the same attitude toward the playoffs. Goodell said owners will discuss expanding the playoffs for the 2014 season at a May 20 meeting. ... "What we're doing now is talking to partners, our networks and our players, and making sure that, when we do it, we do it right," Goodell told ESPN. ""



Looks like diluting the playoffs is a done deal. Also looks like a 4th day of the draft is in the makings. Do I really care after day two. Seriously how much do they really think they can drag it out?

Sleazy way of extending the season without actually tacking on 18 during the regular slate. Tylerphin nails it; I'll skip the 6 pack of light beer for a few good stiff drinks. Mr. Gotohell needs to stop tinkering with what he thinks is his "toy".
