Mcpherson has proven nothing an Davey has won at LSU under Saban. I watched him play a bunch of games at LSU and he just needs a shot.
 
Davey imho already has a Phin playbook :sneak:
 
He's had his shot in New England for years now, he hasn't played one quarter of decent pre-season football in his entire professional career.

Outside of NFL Europe of course..

I think it's worth a shot to see if he does better in a Linehan offense.

I agree, with our current situation at QB, I'm all for anything. But to say that Davey hasn't gotten a shot to be productive is slightly ridiculous.

I'm actually hoping the Dolphins do indeed pick him up. I'd love to see us succeed where New England couldn't. ;)
 
I guess the real question is who is the prototypical Linehan QB. The immediate choice is Daunte Culpepper, which obviously is a favorable comparison to Davey, but Daunte may not have been the prototype. I think Dave Ragone did very well in Linehan's offense. I would be looking at Ragone more than Davey, and inquiring the Texans about a trade.
