Just saw in the herald, Rohan Davey is being worked out, or might be brought in for a workout. Is this the end of Gus Ball???

We all know that AJ blows, what real shot has this guy got for us?

Gus isn't going anywhere dude. The only QB that isn't safe is Feeley.

Former LSU and Hialeah-Miami Lakes quarterback Rohan Davey was waived by the Arizona Cardinals this week, marking the second time this season he has been cut from a team.

That could mean Davey will get an opportunity to work out for the Dolphins. They were interested in working him out before he signed with Arizona.

Davey, who played for Saban at LSU, was waived in the preseason by New England.
 
He won't touch the ball till next year if he is signed. We will draft a QB next year(what round is up in the air), and A.J. And his cap number will be gone. Leaves gus, sage, draft pick, and then who ever. i still think gus will start again next year, after that it's anyones guess.

In related news, the Cardinals released quarterback Rohan Davey, according to the Arizona Republic. The Cards signed Davey shortly after Warner was injured in week three.

Davey sounds like an upgrade over Feeley....I still can't believe we gave the Eagles a 2nd for AJ....he was worth about a 5th or 6th rounder. :mad: Oh well, can't change the past.

Yeah, the guy that was cut from the Cardinals is going to edge out Gus for a roster spot. Gus is our starter, that's the way it will be until the end of the year most likely. Feeley might be gone, but I doubt it, it would be more economical to let him ride the pine for the remainder of the season and cut him early in the offseason.
 
Just out of curiosity, why are we all so enamored with him. He got cut from the Patriots, cut by the Cardinals and now we want him to supplant Gus. He may get on this team to replace AJ for salary cap reasons. Is he really that good. Remember we are not playing Saban's scheme from LSU, we are playing Linehan's. Just not sure what we all really expect out of him.

Exactly.. why do people think that rejects are going to amount to something on this team. The can't even make a team!
 
Every time a former LSU QB (or any other player for that matter) becomes available, someone is going to assume Saban will go after him...he didn't jump on him when he was cut by the Pats earlier...and I believe he was available for a week or two before being picked up...Will he be worked out, probably unless someone else picks him up...but he won't be any help to us this season...and with the way Gus has been playing...we could see both Sage and AJ before this season is over...
 
If the guy cant even make third string on ARIZONA who is gonna be flip flopping QB's ..... What makes u think he is better than AJ or anyone on our team for that matter???????
