Does anyone think the fins might trade for or sign (if hes released)this QB this season? :) :dolphin:

I would like to sign him. He is was awfully good in college. He reminds me of a byron leftwich type qb.

no no no no. no trading or signing another qb this year. we have enough mediocre, inexperienced qb's. no no no no

Point agreed with HOWEVER....i must say im a little bias because i went to high school with mr Rohan Davey. He was a senior while i was a softmore at Hialeah-Miami Lakes...so id love to have him on the Fins, but i don't think he's the answer to our QB problems.

I don't see why the Pats would release Davey.

Because he sux. Also, they have Brady, Flutie and Cassell. Davey has shown nothing since NFL Europe. He seems to be regressing.

Outside of NFL Europe, this guy hasn't played one good quarter of football in his entire professional career. Belichick and Pioli are growing tired of waiting, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Pats cut him loose.

Maybe Saban can find something in him that the Patriots didn't see and get his production closer to his LSU days.

i think picking him up would be a better idea than couch. he has a huge arm which means he can hit chambers and Co. for huge gains.

Cassell? You mean the why did they draft this guy Casell?? The guy from USC who didnt play a down in his life behind Leinart and before him Palmer? Get real...Davey will be their 3rd stringer still and play some more in Europe. If for no other reason because he likes getting championships i mean he has two already and the Pats are closer than most teams to getting another one.

When would he get this chance to play, much less play well?

He is backing up a 3 time SB Champ QB that has not been injured. There can only be one QB on the field at a time.

Not sure about the college comment. Yes he could make something out of nothing due to his mobility but he is one of the most inaccurate passers I've seen.
