Roman's early four round mock

I'd love to see the team go offense early and get some playmakers for Ryan Tannehill. One of the following would be nice: Todd Gurley, Melvin Gordon, DaVante Parker, Devin Funchess.

I do like your draft, though. Waynes is a bigger corner who fills a need as the team needs to find more size in the secondary. Kendricks is a player I really like and also fills a need. I honestly don't know much about the other two, but defensive tackle looks like a big need as well. Too bad holes are springing up on the defense.

Todd McShay's first mock came out today.

McShay has us taking Washington OLB, Shaq Thompson....I really like him if we go defense first. I like Trey Wayne's size...he's a ballhawk. I don't know if Kendricks would still be there in Round Two?

Yeah, I love Shaq Thompson and the versatility he would bring to a team. I honestly think he could be a starting running back in the NFL. I also agree with you on Kendricks. I think he could go late first. Maybe Miami can trade down and get more picks.

Also, what are your thoughts on the DT's in this draft. Is anyone, besides Williams of USC, worthy of a first round pick?

Roman, in your mock, I assume rounds 5-7 are gonna be used on our OL.

Best MLB Ramik Wilson?

I can live with 1 and 2. queasy about below 300 lb DT's for some reason. Probly fits what we do though. Lippett in 4th might be too much to ask? He probly fits too though. little bit twiggy for my taste with this WR group.

falling for Kendricks though.

Unless we change our entire defensive scheme, we won't draft Trey.

His stregths are more suited for Seattle style defense. Pretty much opposite of ours.

Besides corners are too hard to project in the NFL, most rooks have a hard time first year, heck, it's easily hardest position to project IMO. And our staff doesn't have time to wait anymore.

I agree but I think we only have one hole there if Alberts returns on time. I think the team feels that Turner takes one of the guard positions next year. So that leaves just another guard and depth.

All players I like, but I'm apprehensive about committing to scheme specific defensive players when I think we can all agree Coyle doesn't have much time left here. Not that Trae fits what Coyle's done, but it would be easier to draft D when we have a long term coordinator in place and we're familiar with what he'll be running. In a way Hickey has his hands tied when drafting for defense.

Not sure of his answer but look no further than Shaq's teammate DT Danny Shelton for a superior top 15 pick.

would not be mad with that draft

with shaq Thompson I don't know if he is a lb at the next level. but man he is a freak. definitely a war daddy. this years shazier imo

What a surprise - not an O-lineman among the first 4. This guy clearly doesn't understand the needs of this team.
