Just like Jaws said John Beck was going to be a rock solid starter.
Jaws is a definitely a brilliant football mind, but this kind of stuff is a crap shoot, Nubs.

"can be" and "is" are 2 different things so why would you put "Matt Moore IS a rock solid starter" in the title?
and I like jaws but does he ever say a bad word about a QB? he was just praising Fitz the other day, he went on and on about how good he thought Kellen Clemens was going to be.

I really can't stand Jaws one bit, and it has nothing to do his ranking of Matt Moore so low... lol
But how can you sit there and say he is a "rock solid NFL starter" and have him ranked as the 26th QB.... classic jaws.

I like Jaws and he did not say anything crazy. Matt Moore "can be" a solid NFL starter at QB. Some of us will argue that he was last season.
I also see him as a perfect back up QB. Last season was simply crazy so people that have seen him play more would have a better idea then i do but it seems to me that he plays well when things are crazy. On the other hand, maybe he simply has not been in one.
I'd like for us to keep Matt Moore even when we turn the team over to Tannehill. I can't think of another QB who could come in and start or finish a few games here and there. And I think that having a 2nd QB who can play is very important.
A 2nd string QB is like a Cop's back up weapon. You might not ever pull it out or you could go for years without using it. But when you do need it, when you do have to rely on it to do it's job, you will be glad that you paid $600.00 for it instead of trying to save some money having a $350.00 one and it misfires.

semantics... he was gushing about him listing his blitz effectiveness with the likes of aaron rodgers, drew brees and how he's loved him ever since he came out of oregon state.... sure sounded like a guy jaws loves .... just like every other quarterback jaws talks about.
