Ron Jaworski: Matt Moore is a rock solid NFL starter

rock solid enough to take you nowhere...nothing against the kid but guy you build around he's not

Ron Jaworski belives Matt Moore can be "rock solid NFL starter"

After studying tape of Matt Moore's 2011 season, ESPN's Ron Jaworski believes there's "no question" Moore can be a "rock-solid NFL starter."

Jaws praised Moore for posting the NFL's fifth best passer rating versus the blitz in 2011. "He threw an excellent deep ball with trajectory, hangtime, and accuracy," Jaworski added. "Moore was most effective out of base personnel packages. He was highly efficient out of two-tight end sets, both attacking down the field and at the intermediate levels of the defense." Jaws expects Moore to hold off rookie Ryan Tannehill for the Dolphins' starting job.

Jaws has always loved Matt Moore. This idea that he watched tape from last season and suddenly thinks Moore can play is bologna. He's been high on Moore since the kid was at Oregon St. and is just sticking by his prediction in my opinion.

I believe Garrard will be the starter. Just my 2 cents
I think so too. Garrard just seems like a better fit for this offense with his ability to make plays on the move. Moore does have the flair for the big play, though, so that definitely puts him in the running. Tannehill by mid-season is possible although I think the Dolphins could do pretty well in the first half with a very favorable schedule.

Just my presence alone can make it a long thread. I am the thread extender.:D

"can be" and "is" are 2 different things so why would you put "Matt Moore IS a rock solid starter" in the title?

and I like jaws but does he ever say a bad word about a QB? he was just praising Fitz the other day, he went on and on about how good he thought Kellen Clemens was going to be.

Everyone knows (with the exception of the delusional Jest fans)

Moore > Dirty

Pardon me if I missed anyone quoting on this but how in the hell does Kevin Kolb gets rated higher than anyone on his so called list???? He hasnt done ANYTHING at all to warrant even being on the list! In Philly he had Henne type numbers at best! Pure BS! Thats why I do not like listening to the major networks! Mainly the politically sports driven network, trying to make you think their way, obviously biased ESPN!
