We need to use Ricky and ronnie to manage the the games... They need to be able to get into some kind of rhythm,Ricky or Ronnie can catch and run better than Cobbs anyday. Not going for it on 3 and a foot, just to give it to our D, Questionable. I hope we do better next week

I think id rather have cobbs backing up ronnie than ricky.. ricky really doesnt run with heart.. that was evident on the 2nd and 7 and falls 2 yards behind the marker at first hit... he hasnt ran with heart in weeks

cobbs is really taking time away from our WRs not our other RBs. He's doing well.
That said, i dont see why Ginn and Bess can't get the touches that Cobbs is getting.

I like Cobbs...but of the 3. I want Ronnie getting the majority of the touches. Ronnie is a GREAT asset to have catching the football. I dont know why they dont use him more out of the backfield on swing and screen passes. Ronnie historically has performed well catching the ball and picking up YAC.
I don't get it, what's wrong with "taking time away" from our WRs if he's producing and they're not?

I just hate our whole offensive scheme. Why is cobbs running deep routes and not a WR? Why does Pennington trust only Camarillo on deep passes? Why is Martin and Fasano avg more receptions than our WRs every week? Why is Ronnie going in motion on 80% of our plays?
Its just all too cute.
Like last week, Cobbs didnt make a nice play on that flea flicker, ANYONE could have made that play. Why was it cobbs and not Camarillo/Ginn? Why is cobbs on the field more than our WRs? .

Wow, 2 anti-Cobbs threads in less than 10 minutes. It just amazes me. A player steps up and plays well and still gets bashed. It's like beating up your doctor with a bat after they save your life.

cobbs is a playmaker... he isnt going anywhere. If anyone thinks otherwise they simply do not understand offensive production
Cobbs is running routes b/c he apparently is good at doing so. The WRs are weak and it seems like Penn is only comfortable with Camarillo and the TEs

Cobbs is average at best, you know why he makes the catches??? Because he is OPEN, nobody fears him, nobody covers him. They know he is not a threat, unlike some of the clowns online.

If our D played with half the heart Cobbs played with in the past two games, we would have won both. He's not replacing Ronnie, so I don't see what the problem is, particularly when he's actually producing.
you make some good and fair points.i am only guessing ,but in 5-8 yard throws.maybe they think cobbs is a better match up on an lb than a wr on a db.people can talk all they want about cobbs,the same thing happened last year to.the solution to winning.RUN RONNIE 20+ TIMES A GAME.GET RONNIE THE DAM BALL.but the fact is when you cant stretch the field you have to be cute.
