70 rushing yards on 15 attempts. 4.6 yards per carry.

52 receiving yards on 6 catches. 8.6 yards per reception.

Not to mention the many times he started to kick a defender's *** on the blitz; I would even say he does a better job blocking than most of our fullback's in history and probably better than our entire offensive line. Also, the countless times he has rushed for more than 10 yards while carrying 3-4 defenders on his back.

Clearly, the best player on the field is Ronnie Brown. So my question is, why don't we give him the ball more? If he's having such a great game, and is on rhythm, hasn't shown any signs of fatigue such as sweat or lack of speed, WHY ISN'T HE GETTING THE BALL MORE?

We have a runningback that has potential to be one of the best in the league. We have a player who can set the tone for our offense throughout the game on every down. The type of RB that if used well, can open up the field for our receivers, and bring in the playaction. We have a complete runningback, a runningback that has more physical tools than atleast 30 other starting runningback's in the NFL.

GIVE HIM THE DAMN BALL. ****.

AMEN!!!!!!!!!!! Preach on brother!!!

15 carries is a disgrace... even if we were behind in the game. We need to run more than we pass, and make sure the best player on our team gets the ball in his hands. I am not talking Wanny-ball... but the past 2 weeks, we have passed much more than we have ran. We shouldnt be putting that much on Pepper, and put more on Ronnie.

yea, when we were down 10-0 actually i can remember saying to myself "the worst thing we could do right now is give up on the run" and whaddya know, they gave up on the run.

Bet Joey is feeling pretty good right about now... If he studies the playbook well perhaps their is a start in his future. happy now guys?

Please dont turn this thread into ANOTHER one about the QBs and Joey...

This thread is about Ronnie... leave it that way...

I did not see the first half so most of rb stats must be first half.
But I did see a crucial 2nd half 3rd down play were rb danced around and instead of getting the 2 yards needed got a minus two yards. How many rushes did RB get in the 2nd half?

13 rushing plays in the first half; 2 rushing plays in the second half. 3 passing plays in the first half; 3 passing plays in the second.

Just bad play calling. Terrible. They completely gave up the run in the second half. As a matter of fact, they stopped running the ball with 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

That 3rd down play, he "danced" because the RG got pushed back 3 yards right into him. He hit the holes real hard all day yesturday.

i thought it was horrible to give up on the run as early as we did.

when the QB is playing well it's hard to say who the best player on the field is cuz CC is a Freak.
