i just read that brown is 235 and he wants to be at 230 for that start of the saeson....also said that last yr he didn't play as he wanted cuz saban wanted to fit him in little by little and that he was very upset bout Ricky cuz he was a mentor for him and he learned alot from him but that he is happy to be that man now and that most likely morris will be running the rock when he steps out... sadan is makin him be in almost everything that goes on

I heard that awhile ago. This was in the Sun-Sentinel I believe, it should be somewere on thier website. The story was also in the Palm Beach Post.
 
No surprise. I read that awhile back.

FYI:
He weighed 233 @ the NFL Combine. And ran a 4.4 at that weight.

He's probably a little stronger now.

No offense to this thread, but there was a thread about it last week, and i dont see the big deal... like some1 said he weighed 233 last year at the combine and probaply played right around 230 the whole season last year. Its a good sign that he appears to be in elite football shape at this point of the offseason, but some are looking way to into it.

ps. I think ronnie will dominate this year.

yes, wasn't it in an article session where Ronnie said he was about that weight and peopel were saying he was stronger looking this year.
 
Ronnie is putting on muscle. Imagine that. a guy who runs a 4.4 who is 235 and packed with muscle. all i can say is i cant wait until TEddy bruschi tries to tackle that. He may want to go back to the doctor to see if he should continue his quest at the comeback.

idk if i would want him that light, he would be pretty gross though, he has good speed already, this would just increase things, i had heard somewhere that after he lost this weight he wanted to gain a couple pounds in muscleand be around 233ish....cant remember where i read this but it was on this site somewhere
 
Ronnie was by far the best offensive player in that weak draft. I'm still suprised how many people wanted Benson or Cadillac over him. I think Cedric and Carnell will be very good RBs, pro-bowl quality. But neither can bring as much to an offense as Ronnie can. Ronnie's a power runner who's quick, fast, agile, and exxplosive.What's even more amazing is that he's a natural reciever AND he pass protects like a veteran FB. Ronnie's height says he's built like a RB god.... but he can do the work of a RB,FB,TE, and even WR.
