Hey I was at www.nflplayers.com browsing around at our team and i clicked on Ronnie Brown and read his bio...What caught my eye is not only was he a great football player but Ronnie Brown played baseball he bated .330 with 9 home runs as a junior. and he was drafted by the Seattle Mariners 50th overall in the 2000 draft class....well whatever happend with his baseball career im glad it didnt work out for him because im happy as hell we got a talented all star in the back field that can move the chains.....just thought id share that with ya'll.....Oh and his fav. football player is Barry Sanders the micheal jordan of running back's IMO!! hope ya'll find the read interesting...

I knew he played baseball and was drafted already. But maybe others didn't so good job on pointing it out.

Wow, he could be like Deion Sanders and Bo Jackson.

Well Deion is a bit of a stretch, as he's one of the few people(not sure how many exactly) who managed to get a ring in more than one sport. In today's NFL, I think it would be way too hard to try and play both. I mean Deion was/is an amazing athlete, and never seemed to get tired. But someone who runs like Ronnie, I have to imagine him trying to do somthing like Deion or Bo did, he'd wear down for sure.

thanks man he has a very good bio this kid has skills 224 yds off 33 att. against florida and a 54yd td rec man that is just awesome....

Ricky Williams was selected out of Patrick Henry High School in the 8th round of the 1995 baseball amateur draft by the Philadelphia Phillies, as an outfielder and played four years at the Class A level

At San Diego's Patrick Henry High School, Williams was a California all-state outfielder in baseball and football, but also ran track and wrestled.

He was selected in the 50th round, not 50th overall. And .330 isnt that great for highschool,
