Ronnie Brown Article on CNNSI!

Good to see the guy getting some positive press. Everyone was ready to label him a bust after the first three games. Plus, he has actually run for 544 yards in LESS than half a season. Miami has only played seven games. Whatever his total is against Atlanta, will be his first half total.
 
When It read quotes like this it makes me giddy about what the future will bring with Ronnie just trying to get better everyday:

"I knew coming into the league that it was going to be much harder than college, so the transition hasn't been as hard as people would think because I came in with the expectation that it would be a different game," says Brown, who is on pace to rush for the most yards by a Dolphins rookie. "Guys are just bigger and faster, so you have to be a student of the game and be educated as far as how to play fundamentally sound and know what everyone is doing at all times."

Great article. He's got a really bright future. Half of me is a little sad though that he's probably not going to get the chance for quite a while to be given the kind of workload that LaDainian Tomlinson is given in San Diego, but if it keeps Ronnie healthy and wins us championships, who cares! Not to mention, it's easier to give a guy a decent-sized contract extension 4 years from now instead of an outrageous contract extension, when the guy has like between 4000-5000 yards over the four years instead of 6500 yards over the four years.
 
i met him at a club at the hardrock casino...he was with channing and chambers....ronnie is huge and a cool guy.
 
I believe Ronnie may have been the best player in this year's draft period.

IOWs....we did somewhat get a steal.
