http://www.palmbeachpost.com/dolphi...01/Brown0802.html?cxtype=rss&cxsvc=7&cxcat=46 It's a good thing Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown showed up to training camp in the best shape of his young career: he might not have made it out of it if he hadn't.
Despite being the only experienced back on the roster, Brown has taken nearly every first-team snap in the first week of camp. And coach Cam Cameron said Brown, who is entering his third season, better get used to it.
"I love to run the football," Cameron said Wednesday. "And the only way that I'm familiar with being able to run the football is being able to run it in practice - and run it, and run it and run it and continue to run it and give it to the guy that continues to run it. I don't know any other way." Brown, who has yet to carry the ball 30 times in a game, understands what to expect when the season starts.
"I know my workload is going to be turned up a little bit," he said. "Whatever I've got to do as far as running myself into the ground at practice and having to fight through it, in a game situation, I think it will be a lot easier." Not only is Brown getting more reps than ever before, he's taking more of a pounding.
