Well if we are going to have a back who only gets 2.9 yars per carry why pay millions upon millions for him? Sammy Morris rushed for more with the line and Ricky rushed for 1,800+ with a horrible line so I don't see the point. We took the 3rd best back in the draft with our second pick and are paying a below average rb, qb of the future type money. Now I know this is going to upset alot of you Brown and Feeley lovers but facts are just facts.
 
Did you really have to start another thread on this?

Ok, sorry lets not talk about it anymore. (Just wanted to mention a fact.)
 
using the sammy morris logic, then you should like brown more than cadillac. afterall, he had a better rushing average and played less
 
The offensive line is a non factor when you pick a #2 running back. For that price they should be able to run for 200yds/4 touchdowns per game without an offensive line right from their initial game in the pros.

When you have to wrestle a defender in the backfield for the handoff that just adds some challenge and should not be a hindrance.

Yup, Someone needs to post a thread on this board difining the diferance between an opinion and a fact. Some people seen to not grasp that they arnt the same thing. :shakeno:
