Ronnie Brown finally broke away for a TD run

The Ronnie Brown of old would have been caught from behind.

But good for him. I have no beef against former Dolphins who are able to escape Jeff Ireland's pit of mediocrity, nor do I blame the front office for cutting Brown who's well past washed-up and was a horribly over-valued by the Saban regime who picked him at #2 overall.

Ronnie Brown, at his best, was still secondary to the skills of RW. The only reason RB had more carries is because we invested such a high pick in him. RW was SOOOO much better and SOOOO much more talented. I didn't feel bad at all when Ronnie exited the Dolphins. Way over-rated and way over-drafted. Thanks Nick.

This despite 4.3 speed :chuckle:. Ronnie Brown can thank the NFL combine for making NFL scouts think he was faster than he was.

We wouldn't have even missed Ronnie Brown if we hadn't drafted a guy in the second round because his tape looked to be every bit of the slow, plodding, but downhill running that Ronnie Brown showed, only he didn't even have the size or physical skills that Brown did.

:hclap:
Ronnie Brown has had a HUGE day for the Chargers today, leading them to victory in the AFC Wildcard game. What a gutsy clutch performance by him stepping in for the injured Ryan Matthews today. He just busted a 58 yd rushing TD to seal it. He looks like the Ronnie of old, and at this point is BETTER then Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas.

Fins should sign him for next season!!!!

Sign him as a back-up I meant!

Which is it?

Watch the safety on the Brown TD. If the safety makes the tackle, you know, the thing he's paid to get accomplished, Brown doesn't score. Let's not act like Ronnie Brown is all-world.

I would like to have Brown back over DT in a heart beat!
