Ronnie Brown: "I Want to Come to Miami"

Why does everybody make fun of Fallujah? They are not as bad as their 3-9 record suggests... First of all... the "American Satan Killers" are second in the Fa La-la-la-la League in total team defense, with 12 Interceptions, 9 forced fumbles and 7 car bombings. Their starting defensive end, Deacon Jones Mamhud has 13 1/2 beheadings and has been named the league's assasin of the week 3 times this year.

Offensively they are struggling... The loss of WR Mechi Ferrud's right hand due to chicken stealing has cost him production... and the squad has still not recovered from last year's loaded backfield/loaded backpack misunderstanding..

So lay off Fallujah!
Hilarious!!!!!!:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:
SirFin you made me shoot Dr. Pepper out of my nose.:fire:
And for those of you that don't find it funny. LIGHTEN UP!!! Have you ever looked at politcal cartoons in your local fish wrap?

"Evans considers Auburn running back Ronnie Brown, who could be the Dolphins' first-round pick in the NFL Draft, a friend. In fact, the two spoke Wednesday after Evans finalized his decision.

"Ronnie's thrilled that I'm coming to Miami and he wants to come," Evans said. "Miami could not go wrong with this guy. He said it would be an honor to be drafted so high. If you ask him, he'll tell you the team he really wants to go to is the Dolphins."

Don't read too much into it, but it's good to know that if selected, the kid would be happy. Then again if I was being paid #2 overall money, I'd play in Fallujah and be happy.
Good to hear he won't pull an Eli on us.

You would just have to learn to duck and watch where you step!

The Fallujah joke...

Sure, its funny, but its incredibly disrespectful/distasteful.

Can you imagine if an Iraqi checked that out?

This joke makes us look like we actually are invading that country and not actually trying to help it.

Regardless, it was funny. But still, how did we get to Iraqi Quarterbacks cutting off 13 heads on this website?

"Lighten up" isn't valid.

There was no tact there.

Is there no tact here?

Go serve some time over there and then you can preach to me about tact.

My brother is a Marine.

I just don't see how being a soldier makes you an expert on tact.

But I'll do it and get back to you. I'm assuming you'll tell me if I've got it down or not? Right?

Being a soldier does not make me an expert. It is a matter of having a sense of humor. I would bet if your brother has any sense of humor, whether he has been over there or not would find it funny.
And if you do go and serve, maybe you will be able to figure it out yourself.

I can see how some people don't think it's funny, but I can also see how it is. I know we have soldiers on here.

I have the deepest respect for all that go over and fight for us.

But I must say I thought it was funny, and I know a soldiers over there, and 4 people from the WTC that died!

But each person has there own thoughts on this matter, so you need to respect them. We don't know what each person feels or went thru.

The receiver who got his hand cut off was funny because it was in reference to ridiculous oppression from a dictatorial regime. One that we removed.

The rest of the athletes on that team are not being used to poke fun at Saddam. They're being used to make fun of terrorists.

All Iraqis were oppressed by Saddam.

Few Iraqis are terrorists.

I thought it was hillarious, and I was there the first time during Desert Storm. Semper Fi ! ! ! (and Yes I know if we would of finished it then, then this wouldnt be going on now but you know as much as we wanted to, they wouldnt let us) But then again, as a Marine there isnt much I wont laugh at and consider funny. Now Army and Navy people are much more sensative.

Wow let's try to get this thread back on topic before it's locked....
