Ronnie Brown Not A Bust Must See List

Logan Mankins punched a guy in the family jewels?

"Troy Williamson, receiver, Vikings: We once tried to throw Williamson a compliment, but he dropped that, too."
LOL

You know one thing about that list stands out. The guys on crappy teams are busts (early round guys) while the guys going to the better teams getthe non bust tag, that has to mean as much as anything.

1. Alex Smith -Not bust- He is about to enter his 4th season with his fourth different OC come on now.He might never be a great qb but can be a solid one that wins games.

5.Cadillac Williams -Not bust- The guy can play. Until it's proven he can't play anymore or can't be a GOOD running back at least than the bust label must wait.

6.Crapman Jones -Not bust- Horrible human, great player, the guy can play and can be a top 10 corner easily, until he is shown the door out of the league again, then he will definitely be a bust.

12.Shawne Merriman -No bust- Even if he get's suspended again he is not a bust, because he is probably the best edge rusher in the league and a second suspension won't get him out of the league for more than a year, so current status is 'Not even close to a bust'.

22.Mark Clayton -Not bust- This guy can play, he hasn't had very good qb's throwing him the ball, so how can you catch alot of balls?

PFT are idiots.

2. Ronnie Brown, running back, Dolphins: After a so-so first year, Brown has been solid. A torn ACL derailed his opportunity to have a strong third year. Though he hasn’t lived up to the billing of the No. 2 overall pick, we’re not yet ready to call him a bust. (But we could be after 2008.)

They admit he's been solid and then clearly print that they aren't ready to call him a bust YET they list him at #2 on the 2005 draft bust list.
Fools.

It goes on chronological order of the draft picks. RB was the #2 player off the board.

Does anyone else love how Mike Kiper's boyfriend/favorite prospect ever Mike Williams is labeled a bust. lol

Alex Smith is definitely a bust so far, regardless of the situation around him. he's played terribly, enough said.

Cadillac has been a bust, aside from his first 7 or 8 games. he's fairly easy to contain by defenses, and his injured aren't helping any.

How can he call players that are not starting cause they haven't had a chance to not busts, but call players that are hurt busts. Some yes, but if they have produced 1-2 years they are not busts.
