I just want to say that should the beloved Fins lose this game and Ronnie doesnt get near the numbers you guys predict, I don't want to hear a d@mn thing about he is a bust and not another sole compare him to "Caddy". Caddy isn't running behind this line. He actually has the benefit of running behind a line that has been together longer than ours. Our O-line has been swapped out more than a hookers diaphram! I mean get real. Ronnie will come into his own soon enough. It doesn't help that we also have one of the hardest schedules in the NFL this year. Hell...Ricky was killing himself to get 100 yds a game and he was the rsuhing champ a few years back if you all remember. As for the comparison between Caddy and Ronnie...chill with it. They are 2 totally different backs with different styles. Caddy has the style where he can flow with the help of his line and Ronnie has the style where he is running for his life because of our line. He will be fine....just give the kid a break and he will make believers out of everyone.:tantrum:

With all that said....Go DOLPHINS....Declaw the cats....:ally: :whip2: :domodance

Right.. lets make excuses for the guy before he even plays.

I say Ronnie needs to buck up and start making some plays that we know hes capable of. Hes the number 2 overall pick that got the richest intitial contract for a Dolphin ever for gosh sakes.

I think its fair to critisize him if he doesnt even show at least some or what hes capable of.

The biggest stat I want to see from Ronnie is 23 or more carries. I'm not overly concerned about the yardage at this point. If he gets the above carries that should be more than enough to help wear down that D and open up the passing game a bit. All in all I'd still love to see him have a promising game today.

There are no excuses. Yes he needs to try and do more and find the holes but everyone is out to make it seem like he is a savior which he isn't. Yes with being the #2 overall pick comes a lot of responsibility and hype but when you look at the fact that even Ricky (Former Heisman) has had issues where it is hard for even him to gain yardage. Yes I am in agrreance with you that he needs to buck up but people need to realize he is a young kid with a lot of hype as the number 2 and then playing behind a line like we have....I hope he does go out and gets near 1000 yrds for the year but stats are nothing as long as he can do other things to make the team win. he can have 30 yds and a TD but if he does his part in helping the rest of the team win..stats are nothing to me.....

Yeah stats dont mean much, but he also has not shown anything on the field either. So far, hes looked like hes running with two left feet. Im not saying he needs to have a 100 yard game, but he needs to start looking more like the number 2 pick and less like JJ Johnson.

I agree....lets hope today he rocks and leads the Fins to a "V"....

GOOD LUCK TODAY DOLPHINS.....:cp::buttkick:

lol, how many times do i have to explain to you people? the bucs have a line that has 3 players starting for the first time in their career. buenning is a rookie, and anthony davis was on the practice squad all of last year. and they didn't play any preseason games with all of the players at the same time. REGARDLESS, they're still playing better than miami's line, for whatever reason

J.J. Johnson looked better in his first two games. That being said, GO RONNIE!!!

I agree with you. Normally top backs, rookies or not, make SOME plays. 3 games is enough. We need to see something from him. If he doesn't make any plays today, he deserves some criticism. It will be too soon to call him a bust for sure. But typically a rookie running back plays well early. Not suggesting that rookie backs are perfect BUT so far Ronnie hasn't shown us ANYTHING.

bust ?

i dont need to wait till after the game....i said it draft day i say it again...we should have went with the caddy!..........i wish brown the best but caddy was the proven back....GO FINS!
brown is lookin like a BUST....man i hope i am wrong :tongue:
