Ronnie Brown Stats

Some nifty stats I decided to look up on NFL.com.

Only 8 backs in the NFL have the same or more amount of 20+ yard runs:

Tatum Bell: 8
Shaun Alexander: 6
Warwick Dunn: 6
Thomas Jones; 5
Tiki Barber: 5
Cadillac Williams: 5
Steven Jackson: 5
Ronnie Brown: 5

He's not in bad company there :)

Edgerrin James: 4.9
Shaun Alexander: 5.1
Warwick Dunn: 5.4
Tiki Barber: 5.3
Steven Jackson: 4.8
Ronnie Brown: 4.8

These stats are from Week 8 games and haven't been updated.

Nonetheless still good to see Ronnie breaking some big runs and making the most of every carry and keeping up with some of the better backs in the NFL.

The long runs from Ronnie have surprised me.

Ronnie is a bust, he will never make it in the NFL, what were we thinking drafting this guy? Saban should be fired and Lineham along with him.

Long runs have surprised me too, I find myself thinking that Ronnie is gonna break a 30 yarder on every drive on every Sunday now. He is consistent with them and has good vision to turn 2 yarders into 15 yard gains.

Too bad Scott Linehan handcuffs him. He would be ranked a top 5 rusher had we a OC that knew what to do with him.
