Caddy is basically a lock now that he is producing again.. The amount of hype this guy got is unmatched, and I believe his nickname of all things gives him an edge.. The Media LOVES this guy, and its a rare occasion when I see any non-Miami media discussing Ronnie Brown.

Ronnie Brown could lead Caddy in every stat at the end of the season, and he still wouldnt win ROY or OROY.

Also, Ronnie Brown has barely been nominated for Rookie of the Week, and he hasnt won a single one of them.. Oh well.. Its a shame that his great performances are going unheralded thus far, but once he starts playing in some prime time games the praise will come.

is it just "rookie of the year" or do they break it down by offense and defense?

cus i can see atleast 3 defensive rookies that would most likly get it over brown.

he can have it... we got the better all-around back... that's all we should care about

I don't care if doesn't win any award, as long as he produces on the field and help us win games.

who are the rooks

please do not say PAc man

Two fumbles on Sunday don't help Ronnie's cause...

Also think about it - the media loves John Gruden...

I think you're right - the media does have a lot to do with it - Miami is no longer a media darling. We won't see a Monday night game next year either.

I think there is an offensive and defensive. Generally people only really care about offensive.

You're absolutely correct. Cadillac has the advantages of being a high pick, with good production and a catchy name.

LB D. Ware: 36 tackles, 4 sacks, (ESPN loves this guy)
LB Merriman: 33 tackles, 7 sacks, 3 pass deflections
LB Johnson: 68 tackles, 1 sack
Lb Odel Thurman: 64 tackles, 1 sack, 4 INTs

who cares, Ronnie will be good for a long time he's not being burnt like cadillac.
Don't forget that RB doesn't get all the carries he splits time with RW, otherwise he would have alot more yards.
