Ronnie Brown worked ahead of Ricky Williams at Dolphins practice Wednesday.

The Dolphins' staff has made formal depth chart switches in practice at several other positions in the last few weeks (e.g. free safety, wide receiver) and we could have another one here. Williams took first-team handoffs throughout training camp and the preseason. While a carry split is still certain for Week 2, Brown is the more valuable fantasy back if he's starting.

I am glad they put him back at first string RB Ricky may work the hardest in the whole team but he isn't even close to the same back he was
 
Thank you, they finally realized who the better runner is for now. I hope Ronnie tears it up. He is my favorite player and I want to see a repeat of last year. I like Ricky too but Ronnie has a lot more Playing time in front of him.
 
i feel like i should be a general manager cause i predict these thing befor they happen. or maybe its just obivious. i know there are a lot of ricky fans who think he should start but im a new yorker who is sorounded by all different types of fans. i have giants,jets,tampa bay,dallas fans asking why ronnie isnt starting. they than say ricky was and still can be great but ronnie is a beast. so what im saying is pretty much the whole world knows that ronnie is the better back except for 5 die hard ricky fans on this site.if u go on any other teams sites and ask who they think is better right now 95% would say ronnie.:woot:

I will go with Jimmy Johnson's or my own opinion



I know instead of watching a game I knew was going to be pathetic(Cowboys vs. Browns) at 4pm after the phins game. I caught the majority of a classic between the panthers and bolts. Great ending. Of course, most people didnt see it because they were watching post game stuff.

I am a big Ronnie fan but it doesn't matter who starts as long as the running game gets going. Ronnie is a load to take down, it took 6 plus guys to take him down on one play and that is coming off major knee surgery. Once he's healthy again....
 
Funny how people assume after one game that Ricky is not that good anymore but Beck or others just dont get a chance lol. THe line was not opening holes for Ricky and thats why he struggled. The other team knew our receivers were no threat so they concedntrated on the run.

Not pissed at all. Just making the point that alot of people are lost.

I mean who would you go with on a football opinion? Jimmy Johnson or a fan the style of which I spoke about. The common 16-26 year old fan. So few actually know what they are talking about.

Jimmy is on the record stating that Ricky is our best player on offense. Were one game and 10 carries into the season. Let's see what happens.

All I know is that the last time Ricky was a part of the offense we won 6 straight games and he was the biggest factor in that. Everyone in the league knows Ricky is a big time weapon the caliber of which we havent had since he left. Period. Wait till the line starts to gel and you will see.

Neither of these guys is easy to bring down
 
i wasnt playing madden at all i was also watching sandiego. i have a friend that plays on the chargers and was on the feild when they lost on the final play. he was the 1 who tryed 2 hit the panthers te after he caught the td.i came up in a football house and i played football my whole life.i will watch a dolphins game when there losing instead of a mets playoff game and im a die hard mets fan, thats how much i put the dolphins above everything.i just know alot more about football than some of u guys. ill admitt i have a lot of respect for most of the post on here. i just think there are 3 or 4 people on this site that dont know anything about football. and u fall into that catogory if u think ricky is better than ronnie right now.
