Hats of to Ronnie on a terrific game. His performance has been lost in the negativity and the blame game going on on this board. Ronnie looked unstoppable out there, he made the right cuts at the line, and his power is unrivaled at that position. It just goes to show that if you ACTUALLY give him the rock, he produces plain and simple.

Lets hope he continues the trend against a banged up chargers front 7, and helps us to a win, because i dont know if I can take much more of these day after losses threads lol:crazy:

Amen, give him 20+ touches, which is not asking alot, and he will get your 100 and recieving yards + tds + first downs. Awesome game by Ronnie. I think everyone questions him because he disappears some games but if you notice the games he disappears in its the games where he gets 8-12 touches at most.

exactly, i hear he needs to be consistent, but how can he do that with only 8 carries a game? hopefully the coaching staff realizes how important he is to this offense.

Agreed on all accounts.

Agreed. It's a crying shame we're still splitting carries. I just don't get it. Get the man 20+ touches a game and he produces. What's so hard about this?

Funny thing is, if RB has another huge game and we win, there will still be a ton of people raining on our parade and telling us how bad someone is or that we are still a bad team. :(

If there is one thing I hate about this coaching staff is how they do not give Brown the ball correctly. If you do not want to run him always 20+ put him in on 3rd down or throw him screen plays. Hell he has probably the best hands on the team and we do not throw him the ball no we have Ricky out there on 3rd downs its retarted. Cam Cameron and one thing right and that is give Brown 20+ touches it does not matter how you give it to him just do it.

Yea, where are the screens? WTF. Ricky runs them just as well as ronnie and I'm sure cobbs can run a screen well also. But no, run the ball on 3rd and 6 instead of maybe picking it up with a screen. Thats not even a risky play.

I think the problem with screens is we dont have a mobile oline, but i agree, ronnie is probably the best receiver on this team as well

Ronnie is good, but I think he is lucky that we got David Lee as our QB coach. Ronnie is perfect for the wildcat. Because he loves to dance rather than hit the hole. In the wildcat, you have to dance and find a space to run through. That's why Ronnie excels in wildcat and is good at shotgun draws, but is not at his best in normal running formations.

If we don't re-sign him i'm gonna lose my mind

Agreed with all posts about Ronnie producing when given the opportunity to produce. Less than 20 carries a game is and should be unacceptable. I've been a fan of Ronnie since his HS days, my X girlfriend went to the same HS as Ronnie and we used to go watch him play, he was a beast then, and a beast now.

One of the nicest players I've ever met in my life, humble and down to earth. He is also my favorite player on this roster. I truly hope we keep him around and give him more opportunity to run. Just look at the year he got injured, when they focused the team around him, he was living up to his name despite us losing. :serenades:

I just hate seeing Ronnie playing that hard and not getting the win. He was hitting it hard. Heck all the RBs were. Such a tough loss.
