Ronnie brown

LMAO

Really?
2007 before the injury, the only guy that was above him stats wise was Adrian Peterson. Cameron used him properly and didn't take away any carries from him when he was rolling. All the other coaches would bench him when he would get hot.

We moved on and for good reason.

Would make my cat relevant again too (named after ronnie brown, I love my ronnie boy, he never fumbles and runs pretty good for WILD CAT wink wink)

When you rush for 3.2 yards per carry relevant is not your description
more like unemployed

I like Ronnie Brown, however he's not the right type back for the WCO.

I WANT RONNIE BROWN BACK!!! PERIOD!!!SIGN HIM CHEAP, BRING HIM BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm with you. Bring him in as a back up. Perfect guy in the locker room. And he will be cheap.

-On a side note, I have a sick feeling in my stomache that The Patsies are going to trade up and land trent richardson for their back up. I can see a "Ryan Mallet and one of their number ones" to the browns for the fourth pick. On the bright side, that would give us Tannehill at 8, and you have to figure Mike Sherman has the goods on that guy.

He became a tap dancing fool behind the line.

No thanks.

RB is the only position on offense that doesn't need help...

I certainly wouldnt be opposed to this. He is still an upgrade over Thomas who is a a bust and we could get him for the vet minimum.

can't wait for the draft so we can stop the madness. Why would anyone want him back? He had ONE good season guys. Move on.

Ozzy rules!!

He's not worth four strands from a mop. Ronnie Brown symbolizes every strategic mistake this franchise has made for the past decade and beyond. A running back who redshirted in college and stayed a full 5 years is by definition not a great player. Classic case of someone who was rated properly as a second round pick during his senior season then the scouts and draftniks ridiculously over valued a handful of games late in his career, and the workouts. Consequently we got stuck with someone who was not a feature back and would never return #2 value. He's the equivalent of our stadium, and I always shudder to compare anything to that monstrosity.

Brown had a nice yards per carry average for most of his career but the majority of his huge gains were instant breakaways with nary a defender in sight, yet Ronnie always found a way to fall shy of the end zone.

I've been grinning ever since we got rid of him. Actually, that's not true. I'd all but forgotten the name, and this OP should be reprimanded for disturbance.
I'm thankful for the "Thanks" button so I could express my agreement with this post.

Ronnie Brown was as bad a value at the number 2 pick as you could get aside from a bust who never plays a down, a la Yatil Green. Just part of the personnel nightmare that was the Saban regime.
