Well, sooner or later we'll get Ronnie signed for about 21 million and a package that extends out for 5 years. THIS GUY BETTER BE THE SECOND COMING OF MARSHALL FAULK MIXED WITH SOME JIM BROWN!!!!! That's alot of money for a kid who hasn't played a snap in the NFL and wasn't even the featured back on his team in college. I'm praying we did the right thing and RB comes in and performs like a superstar because he's sure getting superstar money. I'm also wondering about Kyle Orton, who was picked #106 in the draft. He looked so poised and threw the ball beautifully. We passed him by twice and with our QB situation I'm not sure he shouldn't be a Dolphin. We'll know more after Saturday night but word around the campfire is that the Bears are very happy that Orton is on their team. AJ better step up bigtime and show some athletic ability in the pocket. He just seems to lack a big part of what it takes to be a winning NFL Quarterback. I'm rooting for him and I hope he does great when he comes in on Saturday. I want to feel good about the guy but I don't yet. We'll see what happens soon enough.

I feel you. I just finished that same conversation with my friend. He had better be worth it. Because all the money we might be paying him will def. effect our first round pick next year.....especially if we pick in the top 5 again.

I know we haven't had a high draft pick in the longest time but hasn't anyone taken notice of the kind of money that these picks normally get? This is all normal and should have been expected.

yeah i dig that but......He is unproven even in college.....Braylon Edwards would be worth $21 guaranteed.....Surtain would have been worth resigning......we could have traded down and picked up alot of need and resigned Patrick.

I dont know why i keep saying should have and could haves.....but fuqqit Im like everyone else I want to see our #2 pick running back in a game...because quite frankly, Im worried about our running game again. I cant go through another last year....I want to win 15 games this year.

I'm with you buddy. He'll be in the game in no time and then everything will be ok and he'll be running over bills and jets like he's done it for years.

That's the price you pay for sucking. I guess we better get back up to the top quick because we can't afford anymore high draft picks!!

Stop being so optimistic! :shakeno:

History has taught us that hold outs hurt themselves.

1. They don't learn the plays quick enough and perform at a substandard level
2. Because they held out they feel pressured to perform.

Ronnie Brown from what Ive read would fit perfect in the 2nd scenario. A good guy who wants to deliver. Alot of pressure on the young man. i would have taken the 1st offer given to me......Just to put on a Dolphins uniform....

X, I didn't even think about the Surtain aspect. That's a great point you made. As fans we have to have faith in Nick and hope like hell that Ronnie rocks bigtime! Thank for the feedback guys. I'm SO sick of hearing about T.O. today.

actually that has been historically not true for runningbacks.
